Customer Safety Guidelines
The Aqua Dome main objective is to ensure that all visitors have an enjoyable and memorable visit. For this reason customer safety is a priority.
Basic House Rules
1 - All children under 8 years must wear armbands and be supervised in the water by a
responsible adult at all times.
2 - A maximum of 2 under 8s per adult permitted.
3 - All child non-swimmers must wear buoyancy
aids. These are available for hire
or purchase at
reception.
Adult who are weak or non-swimmers are also advised to wear buoyancy aids especially if
entering deep water areas or the rapids.
4 - Due to the depth of the water, there is no diving into the pool.
6 - Do not run in the Aqua Dome, take care on wet surfaces.
7 - Please ensure that your valuables are locked in one of the lockers provided at all times.
8 - Currents in the Lazy River and River Rapids come on without warning. If you are a non-swimmer or nervous in the water you are strongly advised to wear a buoyancy aid. The depth of water in these areas is 1.25 metres (approx 4ft).
Pool Layout
When you enter the pool area familiarise yourself with it, paying special
attention to the location of the features and depths.
The deepest part of the pool is 1.8 metres.
For Those With Young Children
You are advised to be aware of the water jets in the pool which may cause
alarm to very young children if they are hit by them.
These are the Water Cannons, the Fountain, the Mushroom and the Geysers.
Wild Water Rapids (AROUND CASTLE)
This is suitable for strong swimmers only. At the discretion of a responsible adult, you may hold a
young child who is wearing a buoyancy aid.
You are advised to ride in such a position so that you can see where you
are going.
Whirlpool Spas
The water in the whirlpool spas is 2C higher that the main pools. Be aware of the steps leading into these pools, be sure to use the handrails provided. Do not jump into the pool from the Spa, entry and exit is strictly via the steps.
Slides
These are small slides in the little pools by the beach area.
These are only for children under 12 years and the slides should be used
feet first. Do not climb up the
slide area.
Slipping Up
Be aware that there is no such thing as a non-slip floor.
Any surface, if wet, will be more slippery than any surface that is dry.
Do not run and take special care when using
wet steps. A handrail is
provided - use it.
Flume Ride
· Go
on green light after checking TV Monitor
· Do
not wear jewellery or other sharp objects
· Do
not use if you have a heart/back condition or are pregnant
· Ride
as indicated on signage by the flume
· Clear
the aqua catch as soon as possible
. Customers coming down the flume tower steps should exercise caution and hold the hand rails at all times.
Failing Rapids (open in summer only)
Please follow instructions on signage, the catch pool is very turbulent
and therefore the ride is suitable for good swimmers only.
Wave Machine
The wave machine will commence operation after a siren has sounded.
Non-swimmers are advised to move to shallow water areas.
All swimmers should remain behind the blue marker tiles, when the wave
machine is on.
Sauna Suite
This area is reserved for adults (over 16's) only.
Leave the sauna or steam room if you feel faint, weak or dizzy.
Do not dive into the cool pool, entry is via the steps.
Keep clear of the steam outlet which is places just above ground level at the end of the seating in the steam room
Shaving is not allowed in the sauna or steam rooms

Owing to the nature of many modern costume fabrics, the management cannot
accept responsibility for damage to costumes from the use of the features of the
Aqua Dome.
