Mo Lá Foirfe - My Perfect Day
My Perfect Day / Mo Lá Foirfe is a unique campaign designed by Kerry Tourism Industry Federation to share the authentic, soulful, sustainable, slower-paced experiences of Kerry with audiences in Ireland, the UK, and beyond — to drive consideration for travel to Kerry between September to October. Our fellow Marketing Kerry partners of Kerry County Council and Tech Industry Alliance are contributing to this initiative, making this a true collaboration across the county.
We're asking you, the locals, the content creators, businesses to share what your "perfect day" in Kerry looks like — through reels, stories, and posts. Your post can be the present day or it can be of a cherished memory!

In this campaign, we celebrate the heart of Kerry by showcasing its rich culture, language, local food, and the unique spirit of Irish life. From the sounds of traditional music and the taste of freshly prepared local dishes to the rhythm of the Irish language heard in everyday life, this is a place where authentic heritage lives and breathes. Let's highlight what’s real— crafts passed down through generations, vibrant festivals, wellness rooted in nature, and the deep pride of communities across the county.
Encouraging Regenerative and Responsible Exploration Across Regions and Seasons
Let's encourage tourism throughout the year and throughout the regions, we spread the economic and environmental impact more evenly - the rising tide lifts all boats. Encouraging regenerative tourism practices will help ensure Kerry remains a vibrant, protected destination for future generations.

Where Girmante of KTIF will conduct interviews for social media at various Kerry locations.
We invite local businesses, community members, and tourism providers to participate in short filmed interviews sharing their personal vision of a “My Perfect Day” in Kerry. This is a fantastic way to showcase our content themes for the campaign: authentic, local experiences while highlighting slower, lower carbon travel.
If you know someone with a great on-camera presence — someone with a quirky personality who can genuinely showcase the best of Kerry — please let us know! We’re looking for engaging, charismatic storytellers who can bring Kerry’s unique charm to life. It might be you!
We’ll be filming these short features over the coming weeks across the county, so if you're interested or have someone in mind, get in touch!
What’s Expected of Participants

Be Yourself: Speak naturally and authentically about what makes a perfect day in Kerry for you or your business.

Focus on Slow, Sustainable Travel: Highlight activities and experiences accessible by walking, cycling, or public transport where possible.

Showcasing accessibility, autism-friendly environments, and dog-friendly spots across Kerry.

Keep It Concise: Videos should be approximately 1–3 minutes long — engaging, clear, and easy to share as reels or stories.

Storytelling Style: Share personal stories, memories, or favorite moments, making your content relatable and inspiring.

Use Simple Language: While we encourage Irish phrases sparingly, please keep most content in English to reach a broad audience.

UGC (User-Generated Content) is very welcome. If you have taken some amazing video or images of your perfect day somewhere in Kerry, and you'd like to share it with Discover Kerry for our use on social media, then we're very happy to accept your contribution!
Whether you're a local business, a visitor, or a proud local, we’d love to see images, short video clips (10–20 seconds each) or final reel that captures a perfect day in Kerry — from your favourite hikes and coastal views to food experiences, music, or daily moments of calm. Let us know the location of the footage. We’ll tag you or your business when we share your content, giving you increased visibility and reach.
