We are not exaggerating when we say that there is no end to the amount of walking trails in Kerry. You will find endless places to walk and wander no matter what age or ability level - from the wheelchair accessible paths around Muckross House and Gardens or along the Greenway routes. 

Conservation is at the heart of much of the work of national organisations and local groups based in Kerry from National Parks & Wildlife Services in Páirc Náisiúnta na Mara and Killarney National Park or the Office of Public Works at Derrynane House & Gardens or Carrigafoyle Castle. Local conservation volunteers in the Maharees Archipelago or in each of the Tidy Towns groups work tirelessly to not only sustainably conserve the environment and habitat for wildlife and nature, but seek ways to regenerate through visitor engagement and committing to environmental stewardship.
