LIBERTY & DEMOCRACY: THEN & NOW

The subject of liberty, democracy and human rights is as relevant today as it was when Daniel O'Connell was at the peak of his influence two centuries ago - and these themes took central focus of two of the key 250th Anniversary events - in Trinity College Dublin and at the annual Daniel O'Connell Summer School in Derrynane House and Gardens. Professor Maurice Bric of UCD, and Director of the Daniel O'Connell Summer School gathered together thought leaders on O'Connell for a most enlightening series of talks within the ancestral home of O'Connell.
