across our teams and that underpins both our culture and our performance. At a time when energy is front of mind for households and businesses, our focus in on creating a
workplace culture where people feel supported, work safely and can develop over the long term. That is what enables our teams to deliver critical renewable energy infrastructure and continue building careers in the sector."

A growing presence with roots in Kerry

ENERCON employs more than 200 people across Ireland, with teams based in communities across the country. Many employees work in technical and field-based roles delivering and maintaining wind energy infrastructure, where collaboration, trust and a strong safety culture are essential. The company said the recognition reflects the everyday experience of its teams, from mentoring new colleagues to working together to solve challenges in the field and fostering a culture where employees take ownership of their work and look out for one another.

Shinead Murphy, HR, ENERCON said:

“The Great Place to Work recognition is based on direct feedback from our employees, so it gives a clear picture of how people experience working at ENERCON day to day. What stands out is the consistency across teams: the level of trust, the willingness to support one another and the sense of pride people have in their work. These are the foundations of a strong workplace, built over time through a continued focus on communication, development and creating an environment where people feel valued and included.”

Jim Flynn, CEO of Great Place to Work Ireland said:

“Sustainable performance starts with people. The organisations recognised as the Best Workplaces for Health & Wellbeing 2026 understand that supporting employee wellbeing is not a short-term initiative, but a long-term commitment. That consistency is what gives people a reason to stay and enables them to perform at their best.”
