Tralee Bay Wetlands Eco and Activity Park
Tralee Bay Wetlands Eco and Activity Park is situated in Tralee on the canal and on the estuary of Tralee Bay. This wonderful nature sanctuary has lovely walks around its lakeside and wild gardens for everyone to enjoy.
Siamsa Tire – The National Folk Theatre of Ireland
Celebrate and experience traditional Irish music, song and dance performances in the centre of Tralee. With exhibitions, guided tours and workshops, you can immerse yourself in Irish folk culture.
Blennerville Windmill and Visitor Centre
Just a short walk from Tralee town centre you will find the largest working windmill in Ireland, the Blennerville Windmill. Explore the windmill on a guided tour and admire the unique views of Tralee Bay Nature Reserve. Get a closer look at the many bird species that make their home there with the Visitor Centre’s telescope.
Aqua Dome
Experience tropical temperatures all year round in one of Ireland’s largest indoor water worlds. For thrill-seekers there is the 90m high flume slide and the River Rapids or you can relax along the Lazy River or recharge in the Vitality Spa.
Fenit
Fenit is a picturesque fishing village and a discovery point for the Wild Atlantic Way. Fenit beach is a popular place for sea swimming and a great place to experience the beauty of Tralee Bay. You’ll find lots to explore and enjoy, from fishing to water activities such as kayaking and sailing.
St Brendan’s Statue and Heritage Park
Visit the 12 ft bronze status of Saint Brendan, a famed navigator who travelled the Atlantic in the middle ages – he is even rumoured to have landed in America before Christopher Columbus. You can also spend some time exploring the Heritage Park near the statue and stop to eat at one of picnic benches.
Fenit Lighthouse & Harbour Tour
If you are considering an activity that you might like to do whilst visiting Fenit, their 1.5 hr tour Is a perfect excursion for a day out. Trips depart from Fenit Marina, where a skipper will meet you. They navigate through the sheltered waters of the oyster bed, Tralee Bay, and around Fenit Lighthouse. This is a highly recommended marine heritage tour, and a family favourite. Weather permitting land on the spectacular Lighthouse. If you are lucky, you will spot the dolphins in the bay, in order to avoid disturbing, they will reduce the speed and engine noise upon approach or when they come near the boat.

Fenit Sea Safari is an exciting experience, our boat trip provides entertainment for all the family whether you’re a thrill seeker, birdwatcher, or nature enthusiast. Our skipper will guide you through all the historic sites along the coastline.
