Liebherr Container Cranes in Killarney is proud to announce the launch of its eagerly awaited apprenticeship programme for 2025, highlighting the company’s commitment to nurturing young engineering talent.

This programme is an outstanding opportunity for school leavers to develop their skills, advance their education, and begin a rewarding career with Liebherr Container Cranes—all while earning a salary. Aspiring apprentices have three exciting disciplines to choose from:
- Electrical
- Mechanical Automation and Maintenance Fitter
- Metal Fabricator
These options ensure a comprehensive training experience, combining practical learning at Liebherr facilities with classroom-based education.
The 2025 programme leverages over sixty-five years of experience, guaranteeing participants a top-tier education and training journey. Apprentices will work on international projects, enhancing their skills and expanding their global perspective. Participants also have the chance to join an apprentice exchange programme with sister companies in Nenzing, Austria, and Rostock, Germany—providing a unique opportunity to learn and connect globally.
Upon completion, apprentices will earn a Level 6 craft qualification and a Level 6 higher certificate in engineering. Many continue their studies to degree level and beyond, laying a solid foundation for their future.
