Orbitus’ expansion follows a series of key hires in recent years. Tommy Walsh further noted:
“Over the past couple of years, we have hired a number of senior staff across emerging areas of the business. Building on this success, our next wave of recruitment will focus on hiring senior solicitors and financial experts to keep up with demand.”
Orbitus values a diverse workforce, combining local talent with international expertise:
“Our senior team consists of individuals who studied law, accounting, and finance in the region, as well as experts with commercial experience as far-reaching as Australia. We believe this variety strengthens our team beyond what our competitors can offer.”
In addition to strategic senior hires, Orbitus is set to expand its team of legal professionals and administrative staff throughout 2025. The company remains committed to developing local talent through its long-standing graduate programme with University of Limerick and University College Cork.
Meeting Growing Demand for Legal and Tax Advisory Services

Jennifer Downing, Managing Partner at Orbitus LLP, highlighted:
“At Orbitus, we’re demonstrating our continued commitment to driving businesses in the region via a fully integrated service. Our clients benefit from on-call tax, legal, and commercial advice without the comparative in-house cost.”

Orbitus has already made strides in digital compliance and legal technology, including partnerships to develop innovative digital offerings. One notable success is Beam, an online conveyancing platform.
Mike Stack, Head of Innovation at Orbitus, stated:
“Having worked in the legal profession for so long, it’s easy to identify areas ready for digital disruption. Improving how individuals close on a home through e-conveyancing is just one example.
