For over 20 years, he served as the Chief Electrical Engineer, overseeing the development of various types of cranes, including Ship-to-Shore (STS), Rail Mounted Gantry (RMG), and Rubber-Tired Gantry (RTG) cranes. His technical expertise and leadership played a pivotal role in shaping the success of Liebherr Container Cranes during this period.

In 2001, Pat was appointed to the management board of Liebherr Container Cranes as the Technical Director. This appointment highlighted his strategic vision and ability to steer the company towards continued innovation and growth.
