A Spectacular Celebration of Free Family Fun and Entertainment in Tralee
The vibrant town of Tralee is set to come alive with the joyous sounds of music, laughter, and celebration as the second Féile Thrá Lí Street Fest returns from August 15th to August 19th, 2025. This year, the festival promises an unforgettable experience for all ages, coinciding with the renowned Rose of Tralee International Festival, ensuring a truly magical time for residents and visitors alike.
Féile Thrá Lí, presented by Kerry County Council, is delighted to offer a wide array of free family-friendly entertainment, daytime street and park shows, nighttime stage gigs, and music performances. Highlights of the festival include lively parades, dazzling fireworks displays, and the chance to meet the beloved Roses from around the world.
Féile Thrá Lí Programme Highlights

1. Street Parades
A number of parades will take place over the course of the festival. The excitement builds with a grand parade on Saturday night (16th) commencing at 8.30pm followed by a delightful Sunday daytime parade (17th) commencing at 2pm. Following the selection of the 2025 Rose of Tralee on Tuesday night a whimsical midnight parade brings the festival to a magical close. Adding to the atmosphere the 2025 Roses, Rose Escorts & Rose Buds are the centre of attention for the street parades along with 11 marching bands, and over 100 performers in colorful costume.
In addition to the street parades there will be a Creatable Inflatable Parade taking place each afternoon from 3pm to 6pm. These will include individual walkabouts with Busy Bees, Serene Swans, Colourful Butterflies and Magical Unicorns.

2. Kerry County Museum - Gowns of Glory Exhibition
The Kerry County Museum specially commissioned exhibition "Gowns of Glory" returns during the Rose of Tralee International Festival. This annual exhibition charts the changing styles of the Rose contestants over the decades and it’s an absolute must for anyone with an interest in style. The exhibition includes more than 30 dresses over six decades, from Alice O’Sullivan’s gown in 1959 to Keely O'Gradys’ 2024 Selection Night dress.
Throughout the festival Kerry County Museum will play host to a wide number of activities with something to suit all ages and are offering FREE entry on Saturday & Sunday. The museum offers a fascinating introduction to Kerry's distinctive culture and heritage. Current exhibition include Kerry through the Ages, Casement in Kerry, Tom Crean Polar Room, Archaeology Hall and of course the popular Medieval Experience.
3. The Wellness Zone
The Wellness Zone at Féile Thrá Lí proudly sponsored by Ballygarry Estate Hotel & Spa have a full programme of wellness activities, classes, workshops and talks lined up with Quest & Thrive. Get ready to rejuvenate your mind, body and soul!
Taking place at the stunning Tralee Bay Wetlands from Friday 15th to Tuesday 19th August, this year’s Wellness Zone invites you to unwind, recharge, and reconnect in nature. Over five days you can enjoy a full programme of wellness events for both adults and young people, including meditation, yoga, pilates, kids art workshops, HIIT, sound baths and inspiring talks. The events are suitable for everybody and no previous experience is required for any of our classes.
All events in The Wellness Zone are free, however, booking is required. Some sessions have limited capacity, so early booking is advised to ensure you don’t miss out.

4. Live Music - The Square & Denny Street
Get ready to sing your heart out under the stars! Each night of Féile Thrá Lí, Tralee’s town centre transforms into a buzzing open-air concert venue, with live music on The Square and Denny Street from 4PM until late. With a cracking lineup that includes The Highstool Prophets, Rory Gallagher Tribute Band by Deuce, the energetic Abba Sisters, Taylor Swiftly, Tina Turner tribute, and the ever-popular Whistlin' Donkeys, there's something for every taste and generation. Whether you're into rock, pop, country, or classic hits, the atmosphere is electric and the entertainment is completely FREE. It’s the perfect way to end each festival day — surrounded by music, dancing, and the unbeatable energy of Tralee in full celebration mode.

5. Tralee Library - The Rose of Tralee Historical Exhibition
The Rose of Tralee Historical Exhibition is hosted by Tralee Library and is FREE entry to the public. The exhibition includes memorabilia donated by past winners of the Rose of Tralee and archive material along with photos celebrating the history of the Rose of Tralee International Festival. Open 10am-5pm on Friday, Saturday, Monday and Tuesday during the Festival.
