Celebrating Our Collective Success at Tralee Chamber Alliance

Tralee Chamber Alliance is thrilled to announce that it has been awarded the prestigious Chambers Ireland Award in the Biodiversity and Sustainability Category. This esteemed recognition was presented by Chambers Ireland on June 6, 2024, acknowledging Tralee Chamber Alliance's exceptional commitment to supporting and promoting sustainability and biodiversity, both within their own operations and in assisting their members to engage in these vital initiatives.

This Award Category in the Chambers Ireland Awards celebrates the outstanding contributions of chambers across Ireland in advancing sustainability and biodiversity, emphasizing the importance of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Tralee Chamber Alliance's efforts have significantly contributed to the promotion of these values, making Tralee and the wider Kerry area exemplary in sustainability practices. 

Recognition of Stakeholder Achievements

Colette O'Connor, CEO of Tralee Chamber Alliance, expressed her delight at the Chamber receiving the award:

The work of the Chamber is strengthened through collaborations with key stakeholders such as Kerry County Council and Tralee Tidy Towns, who have both played a huge role in projects highlighting the importance of sustainability and biodiversity, we were delighted to have our President Stephen Stack, Secretary Martha Farrell there today to receive the award alongside Colm Nagle of Kerry County Council and Brendan O’Brien Chairperson of Tralee Tidy Towns Collaboration is a cornerstone of Tralee Chamber Alliance’s ethos and we very much operate in the spirit of “Teamwork makes the Dream Work”.
